Coronavirus cases in India crossed the 1 lakh-mark on Monday to reach 100,328 with 4,630 new infections reported.
Besides, the death toll in the country has jumped to 3,156, including 131 during the last 24 hours till Monday.
So far, 39,233 people have made recovery from Covid-19 while 57,939 are under treatment currently.
Meanwhile, the global death toll from coronavirus has reached 320,130 as of Tuesday morning.
Besides, it has so far infected 4,890,863 people around the world, according to Worldometer.
Currently, 2,663,341 confirmed COVID-19 patients are being treated and 44,765 of them are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 1,907,392 have made recovery from the disease.
Coronavirus, first reported in China in December last, is affecting 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
The US has been the worst-hit country with the highest number of infections and deaths at 1,550,294 and 91,981 respectively.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
Bangladesh reported 23,870 coronavirus cases and 349 deaths as of Monday.
